Planning a wedding is a big undertaking and there are just so many details to keep track of. Depending on how many things you are willing to take charge of, our design team at Love in Vintage can lend a hand and a creative eye for your stylish vintage setup. From the beach of Florida to a backyard garden, our collection offers a great variety of vintage seating styles that will most certainly suit your wedding’s theme and invite guests to lounge and enjoy the celebration.
Feel free to browse our rental collection and packages to see what catches your eye and call for pricing. For example, if you are a couple that does not wish to work with a stylist or coordinator, yet still want to make a bold statement with vintage furniture, our Bette Davis package is just for you. To create a comfy and cozy lounge area for guests to relax and mingle, you will need to have at least two lounge groupings.
In the Bette Davis package, you will get a variety of settees, sofas, coffee tables and end tables, and upholstered chairs. Depending on your color scheme and the layout of your venue, you will want to strategically place these lounge pieces so that they accent and add flair to your venue, yet do not look out of place. After you have selected the locations of your lounges, staging the pieces is the next step. You should make sure your seating is accessible from all angles and faces the crowd and action. Also, make sure that you can comfortably fit at least six guests and that the spacing is so that they can easily converse without having to yell over the DJ.
Once you have the layout set, add some small and subtle accent pieces that don’t overpower the furniture itself. Lastly, add candles or an antique light fixture for extra ambiance and voila!
